Hi friends and happy Friday! I have two cards to share with you today and both use the awesome new Flower Wishes tamp set from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps.
For my first card, I started by stamping one of the images from the Flower Wishes set and then used the coordinating dies and cut my flower vase out and then die cut it two more times and stacked everything together.
I then got out the Brick Pattern stencil and took some kraft ink and blended it over the stencil directly onto my card base. I cut a piece of kraft card stock and stamped my sentiment, which is also from the Flower Wishes set, and then added my flower arrangement. I finished off the card with some gold pearls.
For my second card, I started by taking the amazing new Slimline Daisy embossing folder and embossed it. I trimmed it down to about 3.25 x 6 inches and matted it onto a white card base. I then stamped the other large floral vase image from the Floral Wishes set along with one of the separate flower and leaf dies and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I thought it would be fun to just leave them as is and not add any color. I think they really stand out against the yellow background.
I stamped a sentiment from the set and added it to the card and finished it off with white pearls.

Alanna, these two cards are fabulous. The colors on the first one are beautiful. Love how you stenciled the brick and added soft colors to the focal piece. Kind of makes me think of Paper Smooches style. :) The detail in the embossing on the second card is fantastic! The focal image is clean and really pops. Wonderful work!
