Whimsy Stamps February Release Day 1

Saturday, February 1, 2020

Hi friends. This is my second post today. Scroll down for my post for the Turner Syndrome Blog Hop.

Another new release just hit the store at Whimsy Stamps and I am playing with the super adorable Goth Doll Boy set today along with the new Connected Rectangle Frame die.  I've also paired these items with the newer Wonky Stitched Rectangles die collection that was released a couple of months ago.

I started by stamping one of the cute images from the Goth Doll Boy set onto a piece of white card stock. I then colored the image in with my Copic markers. I then die cut this panel using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die set.

I then die cut the Connected Rectangle Frame die 3 times and layered them on top of each other for a more substantial look. I added this over top of my stamped image for some added interest.  I matted my card front onto a piece of black card stock and then added it all to a top folding light grey card base.

I then realized I had forgotten about a sentiment. I took one of the sentiments from the Penguin Poop set and stamped it onto a piece of light grey card stock, trimmed it down and added it at the bottom of the frame.

Thanks for your visit. Much appreciated!

Fun card! The goth boy is kinda cute and so is his friend. The cupcake looks yummy. The double frame is really fun. All the pieces work together to make a fun card! Thanks for sharing. Hugs!
