Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop

Saturday, February 1, 2020

Hello Blogging Friends!! Warning - this is a long post with lots of information. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom to see my card share for you today.
Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Prize Winners will be announced on February 15, 2020.

The blog hop will run from February 1st through the 7th and the winners will be announced on this blog on February 15th!!

We have 47 blogs for you to visit to be inspired by these wonderful and very talented Card Designers!

You don't have to comment on every blog to be a winner,  but please be sure to visit them all and show my amazing friends some love for helping spread awareness!!

For my card today, I took the Hovering Butterfly Frame die from Memory Box and ran it through my die cutting machine 3 times with some purple card stock. (FYI - it looks like this die has been discontinued - so sorry!. I have linked it to one seller I found)

I adhered all 3 frames together so that they would have a more substantial feel to them.

I then took the die and placed it cutting side down onto my die cut frame and took a blending brush and added some Dusty Concord Distress ink over top of it. I love that they die basically becomes a stencil to add in the detail on the butterfly wings.

I stamped my sentiments, which are from Waffle Flower's  Sisterhood stamp set onto my card base. I then added the butterfly frame to the card base and my card is done.

Make sure to head over to the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop 2020  page to become eligible for prizes and for the list of hop participants.
