Celebrate for Whimsy Stamps

Monday, October 14, 2019

Hi friends. I have a fun card to share with you today that could be used as a celebration card for many occasions as I left it pretty open ended.

I started by inking up the Marble Background from Whimsy Stamps with this black ink.  After it was dry, I then blended on various colors of Distress Inks in rainbow colors.

I then die cut the Celebrate Word & Shadow die, also from Whimsy Stamps.  I cut the actual word out of red card stock and then used one of the shadow layers and die cut that with black.  I decided it was getting a bit lost on my card so I die cut the same shadow portion out of white card stock and slightly offset the two to help it pop off the card more.

This was a super fun and easy card to make and I am wanting to make many more backgrounds with the fun Marble Background image as it is just so much fun.

Thanks for stopping by.  Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Fun card! It reminds me of the 60s or 70s art/album covers. Great job!
