Additional Paper Door Kit Inspiration

I'm back today with another card using the latest Paper Door kit from Whimsy Stamps.

For today's card, I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting two of the fun mouse images from the Say Cheese set. I then die cut a circle from the Pierced & Stitched Circles die collection and stamped the happy birthday sentiment on it.  

I adhered one of the patterned papers from the kit to a top folding dark grey card base, leaving an 1/8 inch border all around.  I added the die cut and stamped circle along with my mouse images, which I had also die cut several more times to stack all the die cuts together.

I felt this gave a more polished look rather than having small bits of foam tape to add the mice.

I finished off the card by adding a few enamel stars in black.
