Smile for Whimsy Stamps

Sunday, July 14, 2019

Happy Sunday friends. I'm back today with another card for Whimsy Stamps.

I started by stamping the gorgeous Flower Puffs background stamp with some black ink.  I then blended some various shades of Distress inks in deep blues and purples over top of it.

I die cut the word smile out of the panel using the Smile Large Word die from Whimsy Stamps.

It's hard to tell in the photo but I also gave the entire panel a quick spritz using some Shimmer Spritz lots of added sparkle.

Thanks for dropping by today. Crafty  hugs!

What gorgeous color you achieved, Alanna! I can almost see the shimmer. I'm sure it's beautiful in real life. :)

Hi Alanna - what a gorgeous card! Your background is stunning, simply stunning! I love that you chose to have the sentiment be something that didn't distract from it! Excellent work!
