Add Color to Line Art Images Quick and Easy

Welcome friends.  My card today features the gorgeous If Friends were Flowers stamp set and coordinating die bundle from LDRS Creative. I absolutely adore this stamp and die set and hands down, it's my most favorite product from LDRS Creative.

For my card today, I first heat embossed several of the images from the If Friends were Flowers stamp set using the Watermark Emboss Pad from LDRS Creative. This was my first time using the ink and I love it. It's so sticky and the embossing powder stuck to it without any problems.

After I heat embossed the images, I took some inks and a small blending brush and added various shades of blue, pink and green inks to my images. So if you are like me and are short on time or are not a huge colorist, here's a great option.

I then used the coordinating dies to die cut all of my images.

For my background panel, I just sprayed some ink spray onto a piece of light grey card stock. I then took one of the dies from the Woodland Foliage Frames along with a paper from the now retired Arctic Snowfall paper collection to die cut an oval.

I adhered the oval onto my card panel and then got to work on arranging my flowers and leaves.

For some of the flowers, I die cut the image a few more times out of white card stock and then glued all the images together. This way, there is more dimension but I think it gives a cleaner look this way rather than using foam tape. 

Here's a closeup of some of the detail where you can really see the added dimension. I finished off my card with a sentiment which is from the same If Friends were Flowers set and some clear sequins.
