July Whimsy Stamps Release Day 2

Tuesday, July 2, 2019

Hi friends. I'm back today with some more projects featuring new Whimsy Stamps items along with some products from last month.

There is a brand new paper collection called Mermaid and it has the most gorgeous papers.  I have two cards today featuring these papers.

For my first card, I used one of the sheets of paper that I thought was the perfect sunset.  I've paired it with the Build an Island dies from last month's release.  I die cut the large palm tree die and then heat embossed a sentiment from the Beaucoup Bouquet Sentiments stamp set.

Doesn't this just make you want to head to a tropical island? I know it does for me.

For my second card, I took a piece of paper from the Mermaid paper ollection that I thought represented a nice ocean.

I then took the Ocean Stencil from last month's release and added a few schools of fish and some of the other sea creatures.

I love how the stencil also has an area that could be the ocean floor. I used some brown ink for that.  I stamped the sentiment from the Everyday Mini Sentiments set and then added a few dots of Nuvo clear drops for some bubbles.

I hope you have enjoyed my simple cards today featuring the super fun and gorgeous Mermaid paper collection. Crafty hugs!

What fabulous papers! I have seen the mermaids and they are so super cute, I think I might have to add them to my collection xxx

You showcased the papers fabulously, Alanna. I really like both cards, but the ocean one really wows me!
