With Love for Whimsy Stamps

Thursday, May 23, 2019

Hi friends. I am happy to be back posting today for Whimsy Stamps. I've used some fun products on today's card from the Whimsy store.

I first started by taking a piece of water color card stock and blending on the Teardrop Splash stencil using some grey ink. I love the texture this has.

I then die cut my panel so that I could stamp my sentiment from the Farmhouse Wreaths set. It was now time to get started stamping, coloring and die cutting the gorgeous flowers and leaves from the Beaucoup Bouquet stamp set along with its coordinating dies.

SIDE NOTE - In case you didn't know, Whimsy Stamps has a large selection of Copic markers at awesome prices. Check them out here.

I adhered the flowers and leaves with a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive. Some small white enamel hearts finish off the card.

This is a very striking card - the background really is amazing!! I love that you split the image to put the sentiment. It looks like you put both parts up on foam adhesive, to let the sentiment piece look recessed. Excellent work!!

This is lovely, Alanna. I like that background a lot. The gray is very striking. The flower is lovely in pink and that sprig coming down over the sentiment is so delicate and pretty. Great job!
