For my card today, I have a stepped out photo tutorial that is photo heavy so settle in.  I am using the new Eyelet Lace Rectangle die (which is AMAZING) along with the gorgeous Love in Bloom stamp set that I used yesterday.

I started by using my Misti to stamp several of the flowers starting with the base image first.

I've stamped the second layer on the two flowers on the top while the flowers on the  bottom have been stamped with all 3 layers. I love the detail and dimension that these flowers have.

I stamped several leaves and did the same process.

I then got out the fabulous Plaid stencil and used a blending brush to add some pattern and flair to my background. I didn't ink the stencil up completely as I wanted a bit of imperfection.

I then die cut the stenciled panel with the largest die from the Eyelet Lace Rectangle die collection.

After my panel was inked, it was now time to start working on arranging my flowers.  I laid them all out with the leaves onto the stenciled card panel and when I was happy with the arrangement, I took some Press n' Seal and laid it over top. This picks everything up together and leaves it together.

After my flower cluster was "adhered" to the Press n' Seal, I flipped it over and added small pieces of strong tape making sure to overlap the various pieces.

It was now time to work on my sentiment. I decided to heat emboss the sentiment onto some black card stock. Did you know that LDRS Creative has its own watermark ink pad? This was my first time using it and I am in love. It's so juicy and did an awesome job with the embossing.

After my sentiment was heat embossed and trimmed out, I flipped it over and added some small black foam squares. I love having black ones on hand for when I am using black card stock as I think it gives it a nicer look if you were to look at the card from the side.

Here is a closeup of the flowers. If you look closely, you can see the shimmer on them. I added a healthy dose of my shimmer pen over all of the flowers for added shine.

And here is my card once again. I hope you've enjoyed today's tutorial.

Hop along and leave a comment so you could win!

Beautiful card, Alanna. I think the plaid background is so striking and really helps to make those pretty, shimmery flowers pop! Great idea to use the black foam squares where you use darker colors. Great job on the tutorial! Hugs!
