You make the World for LDRS Creative

Hi friends. I am using the super cute Sweet Treats stamps and coordinating die set on today's card for LDRS Creative. I love that you get the stamps and dies all together. These stamps are so cute. I absolutely adore the cute little piggies and all the fun goodies.

This set also speaks to me because I have a serious sweet tooth. :)

I started by stamping a few of the images with the awesome Raven Hybrid ink pad. I added them to my stamping tool on one half of my white card stock, stamped a couple of times and then rotated my card stock so I could stamp the same images again.
I then colored them with my Copic markers.

I used a die from my stash to die cut the window from my card panel. I then adhered an alcohol inked background behind the open die cut window. This is what the inside of my card looked like.

I then added a card panel over top of this to cover up all of the mess.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sweet Treats stamp set onto my alcohol inked panel. I used Staz-on ink to make sure the ink would not smear.

I then added my stamped and die cut images. The little pig was popped up with foam tape.
I finished off the images by adding a couple of white highlights onto the images. Unfortunately, they didn't not turn out as well as I had hoped. But hey - sometimes you have to take risks, right? :)

And there you have it. I hope you have enjoyed my card today.

Cute card. I really like the alcohol inked background with the silver. That looks really neat. Thanks for sharing the steps for the process. He's a cute little guy. I hear you on adding details that don't always mesh with your vision. He's still a cutie, though! That's what counts (and taking risks...) Hugs!!
