Hi friends. I'm sorry it's been so quiet around here lately. Life is crazy busy with end of school year shenanigans, my daughter's upcoming graduation and a slew of other things going on. But I'm back today and I'm thrilled to let you all know that I've joined the design team for LDRS Creative. A big shout out to Angie and Stephanie for the invitation.
One of my favorite things about LDRS Creative is all the great and different styles that they have to offer. There are fun larger images for those who love to color and for those who prefer a more CAS card look, there are a lot of great stamps and dies for that too. And I love that some stamps are offered in cling rubber and some are offered in photo polymer. There literally is something for everyone.
For my project today, I am using the gorgeous Daisy Daisy stamp set and coordinating die collection. I love that the stamps and dies come together as it makes my life so much easier. I'm also going to be using the beautiful Hello Word die for my sentiment. Here is a photo of all the great products I used on my card today.
For my card, I first stamped out a couple of the large daisy images and three leaves using the Raven Hybrid ink from LDRS Creative. I have to tell you how crisp and black this ink coverage is - AMAZING! I colored them with my alcohol markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I then got to work on my card base by blending on some green ink onto just a portion of the background. I then got to work on die cutting the hello die. I just love the little flower details that are included in this die cut. You can choose to poke out the little centers in each flower but I chose to just leave them as is. I stacked three die cuts together for a nice dimensional sentiment.
I added my flowers and leaves to the card base, popping up one of the flowers with just a bit of dimension. I added the sentiment in the lower right corner, added some matching gems and rounded the bottom corners. And that's all there is to it for this card.
I have to say again how fun it was working with these great products and I can't wait to create more with all the fun styles that LDRS Creative has to offer.

Congratulations on your new design team gig! How fun for you. This card is lovely. Who can resist and big beautiful daisy? Not I. The hello die looks really nice, too, with the flowers. Great job on this card. Good luck getting through the end of the year. My girls are done today(instead of next week) due to some major construction going on at their school this summer. Hugs!
