2 Stenciled Cards for Whimsy Stamps

Tuesday, May 8, 2018

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today using fun products from Whimsy Stamps. For both cards, I am using the Dotted Rounds stencil and the Brush Script Uppercase Alphabet set of dies.

For my first card, I added some white embossing paste over the Dotted Rounds stencil onto some black card stock. I absolutely love the way this looks on the dark card stock.

After my panel was dry, I used the Brush Script Uppercase Alphabet dies and spelled out the word Hugs. I die cut each letter 3 times to stack them up for a more substantial sentiment. And that's it for this card.

And as a side note - these dies are currently on sale for only $11.99 - WOW!  And if that weren't enough, there's also the Brush Script Lowercase Alphabet, also on sale for $11.99.

For my second card, I added some glitter paste over the same Dotted Rounds stencil. There's a lot of shine and sparkle to the paste. I used the same dies as above and spelled out the word Friend. On this card, I rounded the panels of my card panel and then added some enamel dots to finish off the card.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

Two great cards, Alanna. I think that first card is so striking! The white dots looks fabulous against the black. I'll just bet that second card is so sparkly! I like how you added the enamel dots. Very fun. Terrific work! Hugs!

What a fabulous stencil!! Just absolutely love the look on the dark card stock. Looks like those aboriginal paintings with all the dots. xx

I would have sworn the stencil was reversed - but reading your description has convinced me! I absolutely LOVE the white dots on dark paper. The other stencil is amazing, too, for it's shiny elements - but that first one won my heart! Excellent work, Alanna!
