July Whimsy Stamps Release Day 1

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

Welcome friends to Day 1 of the July Whimsy Stamps release. I have two cards to share with you today. I did want to let you know that all the new products are available now in the store - click here to go shopping.

For my first card, I used the super cute Paper Dolly Polly stamp set and the coordinating dies. I started by stamping the fun doll image and then I did a bit of real simple Copic coloring. I then used the coordinating dies to cut out the cat costume. The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I die cut the panel with one of the dies from the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles die collection.

For my second card, I totally cased this fabulous card from designer Linda. I started by adding some messy paint strokes to my background. I then stamped and die cut the fun Dracula image from the Dracula I Compel You stamp set. I then stamped the bat images and the sentiment, all from the same stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with another project from the newest Whimsy Stamps release.

Love that Dracula card. We live not far from Whitby where Dracula first arrived in the UK. I tell you, the Abbey is really spooky! xx
