DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC - 2 Cards

This is my second post for today. Click here or scroll down to see my Whimsy Stamps post.

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. For both cards, I am using the gorgeous Beautiful Butterflies stamp set from MFT. There are coordinating dies available here for this set but I didn't use them on my cards today.

I couldn't help it but pull out the Distress Oxide inks again today. I just can't stop using them. The backgrounds you get can be so different depending on how much ink you use, how much water you use, the drying in between layers, etc.

For the first card, I used the Wilted Violet, Broken China and Worn Lipstick inks. I blended them onto the background a few times and then spritzed it with water with my Distress Sprayer.  I then took one of the butterfly images from the Beautiful Butterflies set and stamped it 3 different times with the Worn Lipstick Oxide ink -- the coverage is fabulous. I then stamped the detail layer with black ink.

My second card today is a bit more clean and simple. I stamped more of the Beautiful Butterflies and this time used all 3 layers for each butterfly. I used Butter and Carrot inks from Lawn Fawn.

Fabulous cards, Alanna! The first one is so pretty with the blended background and the lovely trio of butterflies in pink. Not sure if I'll get the oxide inks. They look fun, but I get to craft so little these days, may not be smart to invest in them at this time. The second card is so pretty with the yellow layered beauties. Reminds me of one butterfly that tends to show up and make his/her rounds of our backyard and the neighbor's across the street. :) You are a definite blessing for all these lovely cards you share. :) Hugs!
