Happy Birthday with Concord & 9th -- 2 cards

Friday, November 25, 2016

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today using fun goodies from Concord & 9th. For my first card, I stamped the candles from the Eat Cake & Celebrate stamp set a few times in a row. I then added some Copic coloring to them. I didn't do any shading. I stamped and die cut the sentiment, also from the same stamp set.  I love the matching die so much. Some black and white polka dot paper on the side, foam tape for my panel and sentiment and some sparkling clear sequins from PPP finish off the card.

For my second card, I started out by using the Scattered Bars stencil from MFT and some gold and silver glitter pastes. I used the same stamp set as above for the candles and sentiment.

What do you think? Do you have a favorite between the two? I love them both and am having a difficult time picking.  Either way, thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend.

Two fun and festive cards! I like the different looks you achieved using the one main set. Great for showing the versatility! Great candles, great stencil...love the sparkles and great font on the sentiment. CAS and you're good to go! :) Hugs!

I love this set and I especially LOVE what you've done with them! The polka-dot strip adds a real POP to your first card; the gold/silver shimmer of the second...swooning! Both are awesome!

Awesome cards!! I am usually drawn to bright colors, like your first card, but the way you used the gold and silver pastes is so intriguing and the "uncolored" candles make the second one my favorite. Excellent work on both of them!!

The glitter paste is just awesome. Sparkle anything just makes me smile! Both cards are so much fun! The candles, colors, dimension, and placement are fantastic!

I love them both - but I rather like the black, white and gold! It's very bold and vibrant - they both are really, but maybe I'm feeling Christmassy and this fills the gap! Xx
