DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC

Saturday, November 19, 2016

I have two Christmas cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC.  On both cards, I am using the Poinsettia die from MFT along with the Hand Lettered Holiday set, also from MFT.

For my first card, I die cut the poinsettia pieces a few times from vellum.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set and added my poinsettia. My card base is slightly narrower than a regular A2 size card so that my poinsettia leaves can hang off but still have the card fit in a regular envelope.

For my second card, I die cut the same poinsettia die from deep red card stock. I embossed the sentiment, also from the same Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set, and decided to also heat emboss the edges of my card panel. To do this, I just ran the edges of the panel against my Versamark ink pad and then embossed.

Thanks so much for visiting today. Crafty hugs!

Both cards are gorgeous, Alanna!! Oh my goodness, that red is the perfect red for this project and I adore the touch of gold on the second. Beautiful font for the sentiments. Fabulous cards. Hugs!
