Clearly Whimsy Stamps November Release Day #1

Wednesday, November 16, 2016

Hi friends. Welcome to Day 1 of the November Clearly Whimsy Stamps release. Today, I am showcasing the super fun Floating Hearts Background stamp set. This stamp is generously sized and nearly fills an A2 card base.

I started by heat embossing this image with white embossing powder. I then took some distress inks and did some ink blending over the background. Any portion that was embossed, meaning all the hearts, resisted the ink.

I die cut this panel on either side with one of the dies from the Basic Border Trio die set. I then used the Brush Script Lowercase Alphabet dies to custom design my sentiment. I hadn't had a chance to use this die set before this card and I am absolutely in love. The letters are so beautiful and so easy to line up.

I added the card panel to some black card stock to tie the black sentiment in, added some sparkling clear sequins and the card was finished.

I did want to mention that all of the new products are available now in the store. I love that Denise doesn't make you wait to order. But please do come back here the next two days as I showcase more of the brand new goodies.

Here is a better look at the products I used today from Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

Beautiful ink blending! It sure makes those lovely hearts pop. I like the zig zag edges. And the black just pulls it all together. Gotta love the sparkle, too. Great card! :) Hope you are having a good week. Hugs!
