Clearly Whimsy Stamps September Release Day 3

Friday, September 16, 2016

Welcome friends for Day 3 of the September Clearly Whimsy Stamps release. I have one last card to share with you this week using the gorgeous Joyous Holiday stamp set.  I started by heat embossing the beautiful poinsettia image onto some vellum with white emobssing powder. I then did a bit of simple Copic coloring to the image. I did my coloring on the back side of the vellum.

I then created a custom sentiment with stamps from the same set and heat emobssed it in white as well. I then added my vellum panel over some of the brand new Christmas Cheer paper available in the store.

Thank you so much to everyone who has stopped by and an even bigger thank you to those who take the time to leave comments -- I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Crafty hugs!

Here are the products I used on today's card available at Whimsy Stamps.

Oh wow, Alanna, this is gorgeous! Stamping and embossing on vellum is so pretty and then to add the color with Copics makes it even more lovely. You chose very well the background paper and also the lovely sentiment. All around fabulous job on this card. Hugs! And happy Friday! :)

I LOVE vellum and when it is used like this - simply LOVE it! It got a whole lot easier for me when I figured out to heat the embossing powder from underneath. That was a neat trick! Your card is glorious!
Hugs!
