CFC156 -- Love Ya

Thursday, September 8, 2016

Welcome friends -- it's time for a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and our challenge this go around is to add dimension and bling to your project.  There are so many great ways to achieve this.

I started by embossing some of the fun flowers from the Girlfriend set from CAS-ual Fridays and then I added various Distress Inks over the panel. The result is an emboss resist background. After that was done, I die cut from the panel with the Love Ya die and then die cut it twice more out of plain white card stock. I then added back in each of the layers, resulting in the raised masked sentiment area.  Finally, I added some sparkling clear sequins for my bling.

Thanks for stopping by today friends. I hope you have a wonderful Friday and that you'll head on over to the challenge blog for your chance at up to a $50 gift certificate to CAS-ual Friday Stamps.

This is a very pretty card, Alanna. I really like the colors in the ink blended background as well as the raised die cut. That font is such a nice looking one. Of course the sequins add a lovely sparkle. Great job showcasing the challenge. Yay for the Broncos last night. What a nailbiter at the end! Hope you have a great weekend. Hugs!
