Hi friends. It's release day for Clearly Whimsy Stamps and I have two more cards to share with you today. Also, make sure to keep reading to the end for a super fun announcement regarding a prize for one lucky winner that has a value of almost $360!
I had a lot of fun with this first card. I used the largest balloon die from the Party Time die set and made a mask with it. I then applied the mask to my card panel and did some ink blending. I then just adjusted my mask along the way to fill up the entire card panel.
I then die cut my card panel using the brand new Card Builders Many Thanks die collection.
I then stamped my sentiment from the brand new Bold Statements set but wouldn't you know it, got a bit of ink right by the dot in the I in my birthday sentiment. After all the work I had done on the background, there was no way I was starting over. I decided to add some of these super tiny stars all over my card base to help cover up my boo boo.
I also had the glitter paper out from a previous card and decided to back my card panel with it for a bit of added pop.
For my second card, I applied various distress inks over my card base and did a bit of ink blending. I then took one of the dies from the Card Builder Many Thanks die collection and die cut my blended card panel. The stamped portion of the sentiment comes from the Hand Lettered Thoughts set. Some enamel dots from the Summer Breeze enamel dots set from Whimsy rounds out the card.

Now before I let you go, did you see this announcement over at the Whimsy blog? One lucky winner will receive a free spot in the craft retreat sponsored by Whimsy Stamps later this fall. How cool is that?
I'm so appreciative of your visits this week friends and comments. Have a great day!

Both cards look amazing, Alanna! I really like the balloon one, I know how much work went into that. If you hadn't said anything about your boo-boo, I certainly wouldn't have noticed! :) I think the balloons look amazing and I like that extra bit of sparkle. The second card is way fun, too with the ink blending. You are very good at that. And adding the water. It looks terrific. Thanks for sharing!! Hugs!
This is absolutely fabulous Alanna...just love all those wonderful balloons!
