Welcome friends. I'm so glad you are able to join me today for the newest release from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. All the new products I'm sharing over the next few days will be available to purchase on Wednesday, July 13th.

I have two cards to share with you today, both using the new Bold Statements stamp set. This set is full of super fun sentiments that I absolutely adore.
For my first card, I started by stamping all the flowers from the previously released Retro Flowers stamp set {currently on sale for 50% off} onto some water color card stock. I heat embossed the images and then did some ink smooshing with various distress inks over top. Once everything was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Bold Statements set onto my card and then added a couple of enamel dots from the Summer Breeze set available at Whimsy.
For my second card, I used one of the sentiments from the Bold Statement set and repeatedly stamped it in rainbow order with the help of my Misti. I popped the panel up on some foam tape and added just a bit of sparkly glitter paper to give it a bit of pizzazz.

Both cards are terrific, Alanna! I will try to recreate the retro flower one (love your color smooshing!) and the glitter bank beside the rainbow of sentiment is another design idea to stash away!
Love the ink smooshing onto the background - love the way the colours have mixed. I LOVE the big and bright Hello card - that is really gorgeous and cheery. xx

Both of these cards are fantastic, Alanna! I adore the ink smooshing on the first one. The colors you chose look amazing!So bright and interesting. I really like how the flowers peek out from the smooshing! That sentiment is sweet, too. Awwww. Then on the second card, I adore the font in the hello and really like how you used the different colors to stamp the words. Too fun. The sparkly strip adds just perfect amount of sparkle. Excellent work! Hugs!! :)
