Welcome friends. There's a brand new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and if you play along, you'll have a chance to win up to $50 to go shopping at CAS-ual Fridays -- such a great prize.

The current challenge is a color challenge. In honor of the 4th of July coming up here in the US, we want to see red, white and blue on your cards and projects.

I started by doing some heat embossing with the Tin Roof set on my background. I love the subtle detail it gives. I then embossed and die cut my flowers from the Pretty Posies stamp set and then did some simple ink blending on them. I made sure to buff away any excess ink that might have been sitting on top of the embossed lines.  Finally, a die from the Smiling Fri-dies collection finished off my card. This card makes me happy to look at and I hope it will make the recipient smile.

Fantastic card! I really like how the color pops against the white background as well as the great texture of the embossing. Thanks so much for sharing! :) Hugs!
