Wishing you the Sweetest Christmas

Thursday, September 3, 2015

Hi friends. I'm sorry that it's been so long since I last posted. As many of you know, I am dealing with health issues lately but I had a good day this week and took advantage of it.

I started by stamping the adorable little gingerbread people from Clearly Whimsy Stamp's Gingerbread People stamp set. I then stamped the sentiment underneath it. I wanted to add a bit of twine to the bottom as well as give some dimension to my panel. So I took a piece of fun foam and then cut it in two pieces so that there was a space in between for my twine to go. That way, it laid nicely.

I so appreciate you stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

Here's a close up of the stamp set I used from Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

Very nice, Alanna! I like the deep red of the ink you used against the pretty background paper. It looks like that bokeh technique. :) The twine adds some nice texture! I'm glad you had a good day. Miss seeing you, but totally understand! It's not like I have been posting myself. Hope you have more and more good days!! Hugs.
