Woo hoo, it's Friday! And the Friday before a long weekend. Before I get to today's card, I'm happy to introduce Trina and Kamila as my newest followers. My card is also for the current challenge at Sister Act Card Challenges.
I decided to pull out the super cute Penguin Fun stamp set and coordinating dies from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I also used the Stitched Border Die Trio and the balloons come from the Happy Everything stamp set.
I'm not really happy with how my balloon strings turned out. I'm thinking I should have just made them straight. I also wasn't sure if I should have extended the string from the blue balloon into the red balloon. I guess I could go back and stamp another red balloon and then pop it up but I'll probably just leave it as is.

So cute, Alanna! I like what you have created here! I think the string looks fine. The baloon is transparent, so you'd see the string through it. Gives a little depth. In the future, possibly draw that part with maybe a gray color is all I can think of, and see if that looks a tad more muted. But really, this is a great card. I like everything about it! :)
Oh golly, balloon, not baloon. I feel like a loon for spelling it that way. Too early in the morning, I guess.
This is cute not matter how you draw the lines. And, you have far too many cute stamps and die sets :-) Another beautiful card.
What a fun card Alanna and I think the strings are fine. Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves!!!

Such an adorable card Alanna! I got these cute little penguins for Christmas and still haven't used them! I need to do something about that! Love your card!
That penguin looks like he has something up his sleeve...a rather mischievous look I think! Cute card, love the hillside, I bet he even slid down it! the balloons are perfect!
You're card is pure joy, Alanna! I think your balloons are being buffeted just a bit by the breeze and since we can see the shadow of the other balloons through the red one, it makes sense to me that we would also see the string.
