I used the super fun Penguin Fun and matching Penguin Fun dies for my card today. I paired him with this igloo die that I bought specifically to go with my penguins -- a match made in heaven, no? The igloo die is NBUS so I'll be linking my card up to Darnell's NBUS Challenge #3.
I started by spreading some embossing paste over my blue panel. I added a bit of shading to the penguin's belly and then covered it with clear Wink of Stella. My penguin is also popped up on some foam tape for a bit of dimension.
Here's a tip: I stamped my penguin in MFT black hybrid ink but didn't get a very solid impression. (I used this ink rather than the Versafine black ink that I normally use so I could add a bit of coloring with my Copic markers). I took my black Copic marker and went over my penguin. You can't even tell and now my penguin is very black and crisp looking.

Oh how fun! What a cute little penguin with a neat house behind him. The snow looks great, too. Thanks for the tip on how to make his coat look nice and crisp! :) Oh my gosh, do you think we'll be in the 20s or 50s today? Crazy weather!
