I was watching football earlier this season and was immediately inspired by the football uniforms of the Washington State Cougars. I loved the various shades of grey with maroon and knew I had to make a card using that color combination.
I started by die cutting my cutting plate from some light grey card stock. I then die cut it two times more, once with the maroon and once with the dark grey. I filled in some of the spaces and left others blank. And I was left with lots more pieces that I can use on other cards.
Thanks for visiting.

Well, how cool is that?! Thanks for sharing where your inspiration came from and the elegant card that resulted! Somehow, I'm not sure that using blue and orange (especially after last weekend) would have the same effect. ;)
Hugs!
Very cool! I love where your inspiration came from!
Great color inspiration, they do look beautiful together and I love the die you used!
