Good tidings to you and Yours

Sunday, November 23, 2014

Hi friends. I've got another Christmas card for you today. Let me tell you a bit about how I put my card together.

First, I applied some embossing paste onto my card front using a fun stencil. After that was dry, I then sponged some Seedless Preserves Distress Ink onto my card front. After that, I went in with Chipped Sapphire around the edges to darken them up a bit. Don't you just love these two inks together?  I know I do and I am anxious to play around some more using them.

I then added my hills, one of them stamped with the sentiment. My silhouette image was then die cut and added. Everything was mounted onto my card base. The star in the upper right corner was a last minute addition as I thought the sky needed just a bit of something.

Thanks so much for your visit.

Oh my goodness, Alanna! This is gorgeous! I love your background. Those colors together are so visually appealing. I didn't even know the color Chipped Sapphire existed. The addition of the black star is perfect. I hope you enjoy each and every moment of your vacation. You've certainly earned it! Hugs! And, fingers crossed (eyes and toes, too) that the Broncos can play like they mean it today! :)

Your card is gorgeous and in large part because of the choice of colors. I will make a note to purchase the blue, such a great combination. Also I will put this card in my pinterest folder.
Have a great vacation and holiday. Barb
