It's time for a new anything goes challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge. As long as you link up cards, it's always anything goes.
I needed a sympathy card, unfortunately, awhile back and this is what I came up with. So I held off a long time on the sequin trend because I just couldn't fully embrace it. But after awhile, I decided that they weren't that bad and now I can't stop using them, as I'm sure you've seen by some other cards. LOL

Very pretty, Alanna. Sorry that you needed a sympathy card, but I'm sure this brought comfort to the recipient. I really like that background texture plate you use. It adds such an interesting looking dimension. The poppies (?) are a lovely image as well. Gotta love the bling! Have a great weekend.
Hi, Alanna. I'm new to your blog. I have always struggle when it comes to making sympathy cards. I think my struggle comes down to the color choices. You did beautifully with the sympathy card. Definitely bookmarking you as I like your projects from previous posts too. Thanks for the inspiration!
Most trends I'm right there... at the end lol, but with the sequins, I've always loved them, so no delay! Such an elegant design, perfect for those difficult to make sympathy cards.
I love this older stamp set and its perfect for a sympathy card. Beautiful but sorry you needed it.
Such a beautiful sympathy card. I never thought of doing those flowers in yellow--thanks for inspiring me to try it. Yours look wonderful.
So pretty Alanna! I love the added sequins. I haven't embraced the sequin trend just yet, but I bought some, so we shall see :)
Lovely sympathy card, Alanna. Love the sequins. :-)
That is so funny Alanna! I felt the same way about sequins until I tried them too! now I have to restrain myself from using them on every card I make : )
Great card - so simple and elegant.
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you and all your sweet comments.
