Happy 11th Birthday Christopher

Thursday, May 1, 2014

Today, my sweet Christopher turns 11.  I thought I would write down my favorite 11 things about him - in no particular order.
  1. That he is sensitive and wants there to be peace in our home
  2. That he loves his puppy and will talk to her on their walks
  3. That he asks for good grades in his prayers
  4. That he will still let me give him hugs and kisses
  5. That he will give me hugs and kisses still
  6. That he wants to be a video game designer when he grows up
  7. That he prays each night for his Aunt Heather and Uncle Steve to get pregnant
  8. That he wants to go to the University of Southern California
  9. That he still loves school
  10. That he loves Cub Scouts
  11. That he can make me crazy one moment and then melt my heart the next
I love you Christopher and am so glad I get to be your mother.

This made me tear up Alanna. Being a good parent is the hardest job in the world. Your handsome little man no doubt knows he's in capable, loving hands. Keep doing what you're doing! <3

Another great "catch up" visit with you, Alanna! This was so beautiful. What a fantastic post and a great photo!! (You don't look like you are old enough to have an 11-year-old!) Hugs, Darnell
