A stenciled Thank You

Friday, April 25, 2014

I've been having so much fun the last few months with my stencils and distress inks. I found a large 12x12 butterfly stencil at my LSS and just had to have it.

I sponged on the distress ink in Picked Raspberry. You might notice a touch of blue/purple in some of the butterflies. That happened because before I made this card, I was working on another one using the same stencil using two different colors of distress inks. There was a bit of ink still on the stencil which transferred to some of my butterflies. I love the way it looks and it was even unintentional.

My card is for the current anything goes challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge.  You can always link up any type of card there.

I'm also linking it up to the current Keep it Clean and Simple challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Happy Friday. Thanks for paying me a visit.

This is so pretty. I really see the movement in those butterflies, and the inking is a happy accident. Love it when that happens.
