Christmas Card Challenges #6

Sunday, January 6, 2013

Hi friends.  I hope you had a great New Years.  The fun continues to roll at Christmas Card Challenges where our optional challenge this week is to rip it, tear it, or sand it.  Remember, though, that the only real rule to play along is to make a holiday or Christmas card.

It's also the first week of the month which means there's a great prize available to one lucky winner.

I found this gorgeous paper in my stash and decided to use it.  I just love the bright colors and those darling trees.  I had fun distressing the edges of both my cranberry cardstock along with the designer paper.  Those two layers were also sewed together.

I, too, really like that pretty pattern paper you used. The trees are great. I also like the line created in the tag for the sentiment. Great job!

Hi Alanna,

I agree, gorgeous paper! The card is very elegant, too, with the classy sentiment on that pretty cut element. I love distressed edges (especially when they've been stitched!). Hugs!!
