Christmas Card Challenges #41

Sunday, September 11, 2011

Sorry it's been so quiet around my blog lately.  Life is so busy right now and I just haven't been able to keep up with my blog like I'd like.  Add I've been sick for more than a week.  I did go to the doctor this week and got some meds so I am feeling better but still not 100%.

Anyway, it's time for this week's Christmas Card Challenges.  The optional challenge this week, on top of making a Christmas or holiday card, is to go vintage.  Now I know lots of people out there do vintage very well.  I, however, am not one of those people.  I raided my paper stash and came up this pretty paper from the Blitzen Basic Grey collection.  What do you think?  Vintage enough?

Well you'll want to check out the challenge blog to see what the other designers have for you this week.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
***Supplies***
Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey

Stamps:  PTI
Other:  PTI ribbon

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  If you know me, then you'll know that I'm super excited because football season is finally here.  I've got to wait until tomorrow night for my favorite Broncos to play.  I'm hoping they can start the season out with a big win against the Raiders.

One last final thought, as I'm sure so many of us are doing today, my heart goes out to those who suffered because of the terrorist attacks 10 years ago today.  I can't believe that 10 years have past.  I wish the world could be a peaceful place.  Wouldn't that just be wonderful?  Blessings to you all.

Lovely card Alanna. I like the paper you chose. Glad to hear you're feeling better!

I think this has just the right amount of vintage. I find that card style difficult too.
