Christmas Card Challenges #5

Sunday, January 2, 2011

Good morning to you.  Did you have a nice New Year's Day?  We didn't do much, mostly football watching.
We did take a break from football to attend the baptism of a friend's son, which was very nice.

Well, Sunday means that it's time for this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges.  The optional challenge this week is to use either wet or dry embossing.  Remember, though, that the only real rule is that you make a holiday or Christmas card.  And don't forget that there's a prize offered this week, a stamp from Sparkle Creations, so I hope you'll play along with us.  Many of you might be thinking, but we just had Christmas.  I can't possibly be thinking about or making Christmas cards for 2011.  Well I'm here to tell you that you can.  LOL

I love this image from Sparkle Creations and thought that Josh would be great paired with this music note embossing folder.
***Supplies***
Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey Jovial

Stamps:  Sparkle Creations Caroling Josh, PTI
Other:  Cuttelbug, Nesties

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of the weekend.

Josh looks great with that embossing folder. One of these years I may start the Christmas card challenge...when I don't really need to send photo cards at Christmas, most likely. Until then, I will enjoy watching others have fun with the challenge. *Ü*

Let's hope the Broncos can end the season on a somewhat hopeful note today!

The musical embossing folder was the perfect choice for this card, Alanna! Very cute.

With so much happening, Christmas seems like it was a month ago already. So, maybe I can handle the challenge! LOL.

Are you back to work tomorrow? Have a great week!
