I'm having a hard time believing that it's Saturday already. This week has gone by pretty fast. I've got a card for you using this week's sketch from Unscripted Sketches. Since I can't color, I chose to leave my Bella plain. What do you think? Dumb? Ok? If I actually had the stamp, I probably would have paper pieced her but it was a RAK image so it's a no-go on that.
***Supplies***
Patterned Paper: PTI In Bloom
Stamps: Stampin Bella, PTI Everyday Button Bits
Other: PTI ribbon and buttons, CTMH pearls
Thanks for your visit and I wish all of you a happy Saturday. Make sure to check out the other designers and the new look on the Unscripted blog.

I think it looks ok, but she kinda gets lost in the pretty pattern paper. If you wanted to paper piece, couldn't you trace those areas onto plain paper to make a template and then use some pattern paper? Just a thought that occurred to me when you said you couldn't.
As I said, it looks fine as is, the black and the blue is very striking!
Great card. I like the way you used Bella as a line drawing since the flowers are only line drawings. I think color would have taken away from the overall effect.
I think it's pretty Alanna! I like to leave my images un-colored at times!
I do understand what you mean though with the RAKs. Some fun ideas would be to mask parts then sponge some clothes on her. Or use really light color markers and color for just a hint of color. gosh that sounded confusing! lol I even used a copier once to copy onto pattern paper for some clothes then just cut them out! Just have fun! But I think it looks pretty just the way it is!!!
I really like the sketch this week too, I'm going to try to use it today so I don't forget!!!
Have a wonderful weekend my friend!
Blessings, Maria
What a great job! I like her not colored!
I really liked your card and liked the Bella Image not colored. I think that kind of gives a different feel to the card. :)
Love the colors and I like the black and white Bella against the black and white paper. That's a great sketch. You did it justice, friend!
Hope your weekend is wonderful!
The paper is kindof busy, but I like the black and white with the blue. Very pretty!
I love it just the way it is! Love the shades of blue and your bella is just fine!
Blessings,

I think she looks fine not colored..it is a lovely card Alanna
What a fantastic card Alanna I love how you left her black and white and backed up with such boldly patterned paper! Beth
