Topflight Stamps 8th Birthday Hop and Celebration

Monday, March 24, 2025

Hi friends. It has been a hot minute since I've posted here, and I am so sorry for that. I was really burnt out and needed a crafty and social media break. But I couldn't say no when Topflight Stamps reached out and asked if I would participate in their 8th birthday blog and IG hop.  I am hoping to get back into some crafting and sharing here. Fingers crossed!

It's Topflight Stamps' 8th birthday and to celebrate, we’ve teamed up with some great designers to showcase celebratory projects using the unique products available at Topflight Stamps. Please hop along with us and see all the beautiful talent from this group of amazing designers! (List of Hop stops below!) We are also Hopping on Instagram! You can start at the Topflight Stamps account @topflightstamps.

Did we mention there will be prizes?

Now onto my card - I just got the Hummingbird Large and Hummingbird Small stamps from Lavinia and wanted to use them. To get started, I took 3 colors of Shimmer Pearl ink from Spectrum Noir, linked below, and went direct to paper with the pads, adding the colors in different spots. I love the look this gives and this ink, while you can't really see it in person, is so shimmery and gorgeous.

After my panels were dry, I stamped both the Hummingbird Large and Hummingbird Small stamps onto the background using Versafine Claire Nocturne ink. I stamped a sentiment from my stash and then rounded the corners. I added foam tape to the back and mounted the panels on some purple A2 card bases.

I thought about adding in some embellishments but decided to keep the cards as is.

Don't forget we're also having a SALE in the store during the celebration. Check out the selection of stamps and other goodies sourced from all around the world!

hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

It's good to see you, Alanna! I kind of thougtht you were just extra busy with work. I'm sorry you were feeling burned out. It's good to take a break when you need to. Hopefully you'll feel more and more creative as time goes on. These cards are so beautiful. I can just imagine how shimmery they must be in real life. Wow! Happy spring!
