2 Cheerleader Cards and a new Release

Hello friends. Can you believe we are in August now? Time just keeps on marching on. Well, the 1st of the month means it's time for another mini release at Whimsy Stamps. There are some super fun products in the release. For today, I have two cards that focus on the new Cheerleaders die set.

For my first card, I started by taking the previously released Cubed die set and I die cut three of them from white card stock two times each and then once from the new 6x6 Pink Plaids paper pack from today's release. I assembled my cubes and then added them to a white panel. I then die cut three of the dies from the Cheerleaders die set two times each from black card stock. I also die cut the pom poms which are separate dies from pink card stock.

I added these die cuts to the card panel and then stamped the sentiments which are from the Bunny Balloons 2 set. I added my panel to a matching pink notecard and that completes this card.

For my second card, I started by stamping a piece of white card stock with the Messy Mesh background stamp with light grey ink. I then die cut it using the largest die from the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die set. I added this to a piece of black card stock and then added it to a pink A2 notecard.

I then die cut two of the cheerleaders from the Cheerleaders die set and then I also used the new Yay Word and shadow die set. The shadow layer was cut from white card stock which I did twice and then the individual letters were die cut from the 6x6 Pink Plaids paper pack.

I adhered everything to my card and then stamped the congratulations sentiment and that finishes off this card.

I am so excited to have these cards in my stash for when a friend or family member has some good news. I just think these are so fun.
