Oahu Doing?

Wednesday, June 7, 2023

Hello friends. I have one last card to share using products from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps. This time, I am focusing on the gorgeous new Hibiscus Flower die set. I die cut all of the pieces from white card stock and then used inks and my blending brushes from Whimsy to added the color.

Once my florals and leaves were colored, I got to work on the background. I took a piece of watercolor card stock and added on some yellow ink that I started blending in the center very lightly. I added some white splatter to it and then rounded the corners using my Corner Chomper. I figured out where I wanted my florals to go and then I stamped the sentiment which is from the Aloha Kids set.

After it was stamped, I added on the florals and leaves, with both a combination of liquid glue and foam squares. I added foam tape to the back of this panel and added it to a white A2 notecard. Some white pearls finish off this pretty card.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
