A little Fishy Told me Shaker Card

Wednesday, June 28, 2023

Hello friends. I have a fun card to share with you using a stamp set released earlier this month from Whimsy Stamps. Shark Week. If you missed my first card using this set, click here

For this card, I started by stamping the large shark cluster image onto a piece of white card stock that I had added just a bit of blue ink to with some Distress ink. I stamped my sharks and then stamped the sentiment in the same blue ink that I used for the background.

I knew I wanted to use the Large Oval Shaker Card Starter Kit from This Calls for Confetti to create a fun shaker card. These make creating a shaker card so easy because the dies that come with the pouches are perfectly sized. I added blue ink around the frame that I die cut and this is what hides the adhesive that already comes on the pouch.

I filled my shaker with . I rounded the corners of my panel and then added it to a piece of black card stock, leaving a thin mat. I then added this to a white notecard.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
