Spellbinders Stitched Alphabet Collection

Wednesday, June 15, 2022

Hello friends. This is my second blog post for the day. Click here if you missed the first one. I have 4 cards in total to share using the new Stitched Alphabet die collection from Spellbinders. These dies are so much fun and a great size as you can see. Each letter is available for single purchase.

For my first two cards, I started by embossing the Loops embossing folder onto white card stock. I then trimmed the panels down and added them to pink A2 notecards. I then took the Stitched h die and Stitched i die and die cut them from pink and grey card stocks.

I love that you can add stitching if you want to or don't want to. You can also use the dies without any of the stitching portion like I did on the card on the right. I finished off these cards with some silver pearls.

For my second set of cards, I used the same pink and grey card stocks that I used for the first cards and die cut the letters again. This time, I created my own background by taking some watercolor card stock and then adding Distress Oxide sprays and Distress Spray Stains (colors linked below). Pink pearls finish off these cards.

I hope you've been inspired. Thanks for stopping by and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

These are wonderful. I like the different backgrounds. Great versatility. Actually, these remind me of the Solos way back in the day from CTMH...remember the frenzy over accumulating all the letters? LOL I think these look a little more fancy though. :)
