Hi friends. It's busy on my blog this week. This is my second post for today so click here or scroll down to see that. My cards today use some of the Celebrate You collection of products from Spellbinders.
For my first card, I started by hot foiling the Birthday Candle Background plate two times onto this specialty card stock from Spellbinders that foils beautifully. I then trimmed the panel down and added it with foam tape to a white A2 notecard. I then stamped the sentiment which is from the Let's Celebrate Sentiments set. I die cut it out using one of the dies from the Sentiment Labels die set. I then die cut one of the tag dies from the set and stacked them together. I finished off the card with some enamel dots.
For my next card, I did more rainbow foiling. This time, I used the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes hot foil plate. After it was foiled, I trimmed it down and matted it onto some black card stock. I then took the same sentiment I used in my first card from the Let's Celebrate Sentiments set and stamped it onto three of the rows on my background. I added a die cut butterfly which is from the previously released Delicate Butterflies set. Some pearls finish off the card.
For my last card, I went in a completely different direction. I started by using the new Splatter embossing folder and I embossed it onto some blue card stock. I trimmed it down and then repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments from the Let's Celebrate Sentiments stamp set. I added the panel to a black A2 notecard. I then stamped the happy birthday sentiment from the Let's Celebrate Sentiments set and then die cut it out using one of the tag dies from the Sentiment Labels die set. Some gems finish off the card.
I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
