Hi everyone! The first of the month means it's time for a new mini release at Whimsy Stamps and this one is SO good. Whimsy is introducing hot foil plates to its lineup and I couldn't be more excited.
For this release, there is the new Mini Slim Notched hot foil plate. It coordinates perfectly with the new Mini Slim Notched dies and the Mini Slim Notched Stitched dies.
I have two cards to share with you today using these new foil plates and dies. For my first card, I started by foiling the largest two plates from the Mini Slim Notched hot foil plates with some bright pink foil. I then took one of the dies from the Mini Slim Notched die set and die cut the center out so I just had a frame. I then added acetate behind it and created a shaker well. I filled the shaker with the awesome Messages of Love confetti mix from This Calls for Confetti.
Once my shaker was completed, I added it to a matching pink mini slim note card. I finished off the card by adding in some polaroid die cuts that are from the Selfie die set. I stamped two of them with a heart image from the FaDoodle Hearts stamp set that I colored in with some red Copic markers. I stamped my sentiment onto the third die cut. It's from the Hello Bear stamp set. I adhered all of these to the top of my shaker and this card is complete.
For my second card, I did like I did with the first and foiled the largest two plates from the Mini Slim Notched foil plate set but this time I didn't die cut the center. I stamped the large sentiment which is from the Happy Headlines stamp set. I then stamped the large butterfly from the Butterflies set with black ink and then used the coordinating dies to cut it out.
I added foam tape to the back of my foiled panel and added it to a piece of black card stock that was trimmed slightly smaller than my pink mini slimline notecard.

How exciting for Whimsy Stamps and their customers to have the option to purchase hot foil plates. Your cards to introduce them are beautiful. The frames look amazing. How fun that your first card is a shaker. The bits are so neat! The second card is lovely with the amazing butterfly. It is such a striking card with the black accents.
