I feel Pretty - Oh so Pretty

Friday, March 18, 2022

Hi friends. I crafted up a storm the last couple of weeks which is why you've been seeing nearly daily posts from me this week and last. :)

For today's card, I am using the new Oh, So Pretty! stamps from Whimsy Stamps. This was part of their latest release. I started by stamping the cute llama image onto some white card stock and then stamped the floral chain image on top and bottom. I colored the images in with my Copic markers. I then stamped the sentiments underneath my llama and then die cut this panel with one of the scalloped oval dies from the Spring Ovals die set. I die cut more white card stock two more times to add dimension to my oval focal panel. I finished off the scarf in the image with some white gel pen dots.

I then took several of the smaller floral images from the set and stamped my white A2 notecard with grey ink. I added my oval focal panel on top and then was going to call it good. But then somehow I got some ink smudges on the panel. So out came the pearls and the second part of the sentiment to cover up my boo-boos. :) I finished off the card by rounding the bottom two corners.

Thanks for dropping by today. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

At least one of us has been crafty! LOL This is a delightful card, even if I am going to have a certain song stuck in my head today. I have certainly enjoyed seeing all the wonderful projects that have resulted from your crafty sessions! Happy weekend, my friend. Go forth and craft some more! Hugs!
