Double Silhouette

Friday, March 25, 2022

Hi friends. For my card today, I had fun playing with some Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays. I took a piece of watercolor card stock and then sprayed it with various colors of blues and greens in both types of sprays. I did spray the panel some and then let it dry and then came back and added more layers of spray. You can't tell in the photo really but I also sprayed it with some Mica Spray from Tim Holtz which gives so much shine and glimmer.

After everything was dry, I die cut the panel using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set. I then took the new Sympathy Silhouette stamp set from Whimsy Stamps and stamped it at the top and bottom of my panel with black ink. I then stamped the sentiment in the center which is from the Simple Sentiment Strips set.
