Vintage Poinsettia

Monday, October 25, 2021

Hi friends. I'm back today with another card featuring a new stamp set from the last release at Whimsy Stamps. This time I am using the Vintage Poinsettia set. It has such beautiful illustrations. I started by stamping the images all over a piece of white card stock with Copic friendly black ink. I then colored them in with shades of green and red ink.

I then added some gold splatter with the Spellbinders Gold Silk. I then die cut the Merry Large Word die from gold mirror card stock and then die cut it two times from white card stock. I adhered them all together and added it to my card. I then heat embossed the Christmas part of my sentiment which is from the Vintage Poinsettia stamp set. I trimmed it out and added it with some black foam tape.

I added my entire panel to a piece of black card stock which I then added to a white A2 card base and that completes the card.

As always, I appreciate you stopping by and spending just a moment with me today. I hope you've been inspired. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

This card is very pretty, Alanna. I do like the vintage feel of the images and how wonderfully the panel pops next to the black mat. Thanks so very much for sharing. Crafty hugs! :)
