Spellbinders Sweet Serenade Collection - 4 Cards

Friday, October 29, 2021

Hi friends and happy Friday. I'm happy to be sharing 4 cards with you today featuring the gorgeous Sweet Serenade Notecards collection from Spellbinders.

For my first card, I am using the awesome Lyrical Layered Florals stamp and die combo set. I love this set because the layering is super easy and the stamp packing includes numbers to indicate which order to do the stamping in making it super easy. And then the fact that there is a coordinating die already included? Love!

I stamped the large floral cluster two times and then die cut it out. I die cut the frame two more times for each cluster out of white card stock and stacked everything together for some extra dimension.

I then die cut a piece of pink card stock using the largest die from the  Nestabilities Candlewick Rectangles die set and added this to a white card base. I stamped the happy birthday sentiment in the center of the card and then adhered my floral clusters on top and bottom of it and this card is complete.

For my second card, I am using the Scalloped Symphony Notecard die collection. I first took the square portions from the die set and die cut it directly into the front of my card base making sure my card base was open inside my die cutting machine. I then took a background stamp from my stash and stamped the card base.

I then die cut the piece again, but this time adding the frame around it. I adhered it to my card to make things look a bit bolder and nicer. I then took the same stamp set from above, the Lyrical Layered Florals stamp and die combo, and stamped a floral cluster. I added it to the card base, making sure to add adhesive just to the places where it wouldn't show to the inside of the card.

I then stamped the happy birthday sentiment using the coordinating die to die cut it out. I die cut it two more times for added dimension, adhered it to my card and then finished everything off with some pearls.

My last two cards feature the same Scalloped Symphony Notecard die collection except this time I am using the large frame that comes in the set. I die cut it out and then scored it. I love the delicate doily look it gives. I then added some patterned paper to each of the note cards and then die cut both the square and circle inner portions from purple and pink card stocks.

I finished off the cards by die cutting the hello die which is from the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments die set, which is also new from this collection. I die cut the hello die 3 times for each card, adhering them together for dimension. And although you can't tell in the photo, I added Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen to each of the hello die cuts for some added sparkle.

I appreciate you stopping by today and I hope you've been inspired. Wishing you a wonderful day. Crafty hug! ~ Alanna
