Spellbinders Blog Hop

Thursday, July 15, 2021

Hi friends. I'm happy to be participating in the Spellbinders July 15th blog hop featuring the July 2021 clubs. If you're new here, welcome!

If you are hopping along, you should have arrived from Gemma Campbell's blog. If you're one of my regular visitors and would like to join in the hop, it starts at the Spellbinders blog. Spellbinders is giving away 3 $50 gift certificates to blog hop participants.

For my card today, I am using the July 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil KOTM. I took one of the hot foil plates included in the kit and I glimmered it 5 different times with the Mini Rainbow Stripe foil. I trimmed each of  the rectangles out and then added them to my card base with foam tape.

I then took the Glimmered Botanical Glimmer Hot foil Plate and Die set and glimmered both the large and small florals. I used the coordinating die in the collection to cut out my glimmered flowers. I die cut the outline portion a total of 3 times and stacked them together for dimension. I die cut the detail layer along with the leaf from some gold cardstock. I stamped my sentiment and then adhered all of my flowers and leaves in a cluster. I finished off the card with some black pearls.

Your next stop on the hop is Michelle Starcher. and here's the complete blog hop listing.

Aww I wish the photo captured the rainbow foil more. It is so dark I thought it was black.

I would never think to use the smallest rectangle to make an entire card. I love how versatile these dies are. A pretty card. Thanks!

I've never foiled, but the simple foiling really interested me. Might have to look into it.
