Whimsy Stamps New Release

Wednesday, June 2, 2021

Hi friends.  There is a new release at Whimsy Stamps and this one is a fun one. There are all sorts of animal themed stamps and dies to choose from.

For my card today, I started by taking one of the patterns from the new 6x6 Bandana paper pack and die cutting it with the Wavy Pierced Rectangle dies. I added it to a white card base. I then stamped one of the adorable images from the super cute and cheeky What the Cluck stamp set, colored it and then used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I absolutely love the expression on this little guy's face.

I thought his look would pair well with the Ugh Word & Shadow die that was previously released. I die cut the shadow portion from black card stock twice and then the letter portions from white card stock and adhered them all together. I stamped my supporting sentiment which is from the same What the Cluck set which I find to be absolutely hysterical, onto a piece of tan card stock.

I popped up my chicken with foam tape and then die cut a couple of the dies from the new Slimline Chicken Coop die set to help ground the little cutie with the same tan card stock which I had added just a touch of ink to for some dimension.

I think this would be a great card to send to someone who might be having a rough week.

Here is some inspiration from the rest of the Creative Team.

That's all I have for you today. As always, I appreciate you so much and wish you a wonderful day. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Omg, this is so funny, Alanna! That chicken's expression is hysterical. Love the bandana background and the sarcastic sentiment. Thanks for sharing. Hugs!
