Thank my Lucky Stars for You

Thursday, December 23, 2021

Hi friends. I previously shared this card on Instagram as part of a hop between Whimsy Stamps and Scrapbook Adhesives and am just now getting a chance to share it here.

For my card, I started by stamping the large star image from the FaDoodle Stars set onto a pearly cardstock from this paper collection that has 5 types of card stocks all in shades of rose gold. The photo doesn't even remotely capture how pretty this paper is in person.

I then stamped my sentiment which is from the Shine Bright stamp set.

I then took one of the Adhesive Sheets from Scrapbook Adhesives and added it to the back of the glitter card stock included in the same collection I used earlier. I then ran the Twinkle Scribble die through my die cutting machine with my card stock which I have essentially turned into a sticker.

After my die cutting was done, all I needed to do was to peel off the backing and adhere the die cut to my card. This was so much better than fiddling with liquid adhesive on this dainty die cut.

I then added a few of the fallout stars onto my card and adhered the panel to a top folding black card base.
