Sorry Things are so Crappy

Friday, April 30, 2021

Hi friends and happy Friday. I hope you all have had a great week so far. My card today uses the super fun and cheeky Crapola set from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps. It is absolutely hilarious.

I started by stamping the large back side image of my puppy onto a piece of white card stock and then colored it in with some broad messy strokes to somewhat mimic fur. I then stamped the pile of poo image along with the steam image and colored it in.

I stamped the sentiments - one in black ink and one in brown ink. I decided to stamp my brown background panel with the poo image repeatedly for a bit of interest. I added the brown panel onto my white card base with some foam tape and then added my stamped panel onto the card and it's complete.

Wouldn't it be fun to send this to someone who is having a rough time? Now maybe you wouldn't be able to send this type of card to everyone you know but I bet everyone has one friend at least who would appreciate this type of humor. :)

I hope you have a great weekend. We will be celebrating my son's 18th birthday. Say what?! How did that happen. :) Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

This is pretty funny, Alanna. Thanks for sharing. I guess stamping isn't always sunshine and roses, huh? LOL Happy 18th to your son! Yep, I totally get it! Isn't he graduating soon, too? Exciting times for sure. I wish him all the success in the world. Thanks again for sharing. :)
